Ahoy, Little Boy

We took Carter swimming for the first time--he wasn't too sure about it at first, but warmed up to it and had a fun time!

My baby girl is all grown up!

For her 9th birthday, Kaitlyn asked to have her ears peirced. She was very brave and handled it much better than her worried parents, and now is the proud owner of a hole in each of her ear lobes. She instantly looks older and all grown up now!

Family Pictures

We survived family pictures! It was quite the ordeal trying to get two little boys to behave and have everyone pretend to smile at the camera. We go tomorrow to see the proofs, but here's some we took with our own camera.

Go Bees!

We had a fun time with friends last weekend at the Salt Lake Bees baseball games. I think the kids liked the cotton candy and treats more than the actual game, but it turned out to be a good game and a fun time at the ballpark.

Love One Another

Tonight, Lauren informed me that her primary teacher said she only has to love two people--"one" and "other."

Happy Half-Birthday, Carter!

Our little baby boy is 6 months old! He's the cutest little guy you've ever seen. To celebrate his big day, we fed him his first tastes of baby cereal tonight. He actually liked it quite a bit. Bon appetit, little Carter!

Kaitlyn's new glasses

I guess she really is our daughter--even with the red hair. Just like both her parents, Kaitlyn got her first pair glasses while in third grade. I think they're very cute!
