Carving Away

We made our Jack-o-Lanterns last night and had a fun time. The girls loved playing in the "pumpkin goo" and made a little witch's brew out of it. We eventually came up with 4 pumpkins carved and are getting all ready for Halloween night!

Picking a Peck of Pumpkins

We had a fun time on a hayride out to the pumpkin patch to pick our pumpkins. The girls each found their perfect pumpkin, while Tanner tried to stay out of the mud. Carter just smiled the whole time--thrilled to be on a hayride without a carseat!

Giddyup!

We had a fun family night, going horseback riding at the Frodshams. The kids learned a bit about steering and guiding a horse and absolutely had the time of their lives. I've never seen Tanner so happy--he giggled and giggled. The girls were in heaven as well and it was a perfect night.

Fly Away With Me

We had a great time at the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta a couple weekends ago. Wow. It was one of the most amazing things I've ever seen, watching literally thousands of balloons ascending into the sky. There were lots of playful balloons with interesting shapes and sizes, and it was fun to talk with the balloonists and watch as they unrolled the balloons, filled them up and prepare for launch. Wow. We stayed with Ken and Jenni in Albuquerque and had a fun weekend with them and it turned out to be a great time.

Happiest Place on Earth

We had a great trip to Disneyland! We spent 3-1/2 days there and had Tami's dad and her sister Tricia's family come along and had a fun time together. We saw princesses and rode scary rides, we got autographs and spun in the teacups til we couldn't stand straight. The little kids loved Small World and the Pooh Bear ride, while Kaitlyn and Ashley were daredevils on Space Mountain, Splash Mountain and even California Screamin! It was a fun trip!

Go Cougars!

We had a fun time cheering on BYU. The kids liked the concessions stand more than anything, but it was a fun game and my evil scheme to indoctrinate my kids in all things BYU is going right according to plan!
