Draper Open House

We went on the final weekend (probably not the greatest idea) to the open house of the Draper Temple. The girls were all very excited and enjoyed the open house. Tanner--not so much. He basically ran back and forth through the line, cutting off people left and right. I'd chase him and apologize to everyone as I'm hunting him down.

Afterwards as we talked to the kids, Kaitlyn was so excited to someday go and do baptisms there. Lauren's favorite part was the beautiful mirrors. Ashley thought the bride's room was super pretty and Tanner just liked the cookies at the end.

Let's Go Fly a Kite, Part II

When we were at the park flying kites, I offered the kids some snacks. Ashley declined and said, "I think I'm going to not eat for a whole week and then maybe I'll be skinny enough that you can tie me to the kite and I can fly with it!"

Let's Go Fly a Kite

We had an early spring day on Saturday. The kids (with some cousins visiting) were so excited to go to the park and try out our new kite. We had some success, but a hard time getting it to stay up for too long.

Dancing Stars

Kaitlyn and Ashley were the big stars at their clogging recital tonight. They just started clogging a few months ago, but have picked it up well and did a great job in their number.

Okay, I'll admit that this picture slightly disturbed me, but I guess it's okay--he's all boy and still the cutest little guy ever.

Name and a Blessing

We had Carter's baby blessing on Sunday and it turned out to be a great day. We had lots of family come from both sides to our sacrament meeting to support us on the big day and Carter was the star of the show! We were glad that both sets of grandparents could come. Afterwards, we had 43 people over to our house for brunch and had a lot of fun visiting.

Sledding Fun

We had a lot of snow over the weekend and went sledding at the nearby park. It was a lot of fun! This was Tanner's first time sledding and he loved it, and we even got my mother to go on a couple runs!

John the Cheese Maker

Last night, as Ashley smothered her meal in parmesan cheese, she turned to me and commented, "Dad, I bet John is rich!" "John who?" I asked. "John, the guy who makes 'parme-John' cheese."
