Pumpkin Time!

We had a Pumpkin Party tonight! Mom started it off with a pumpkin dinner, complete with pumpkin punch, pumpkin soup, pumpkin sandwiches and so forth, then off to pick up our pumpkins (including one from our garden!) and we finished the night by carving them.

Family hike

We enjoyed visiting and hiking around Cascade Springs several weeks ago.

Notre Dame Trip!

So it wasn't a perfect trip, but take away the 4th Quarter of the actual game and everything else was pretty much perfect. Ken and I flew to Dayton, had a late night visit with the Hancocks, then drove to South Bend, IN to cheer on our BYU Cougars vs Notre Dame. The campus was incredible. The College Football Hall of Fame was memorable. The perfect fall football weather and general atmosphere were indescribable. The game was great until it all kinda fell apart at the end, losing to the Irish 17-14. But what a trip! What an experience!

Camping Fun

We had a fun time camping up in the mountains. The colors were beautiful, the smores were delicious, and the ghost stories were terrifying!

We had tons of fun at a trampoline center close to our house!

Top of Utah Marathon

It wasn't pretty, but I endured to the end of the Top of Utah Marathon on Saturday. 4:15. Beautiful course, just wished it had ended about mile 20 or so!
 

First Day of School!

School has begun! Kaitlyn started 7th Grade at Centerville Junior High, while Ashley (6th) and Lauren (3rd) welcomed new kindergartener Tanner to Reading Elementary. An exciting day!

European Adventure -- Paris Highlights

Paris was fantastic! We saw a ton in only a few days, from the Louvre and Versailles to Arc de Triomphe and the Phantom's Box 5 in the Garnier Opera House. A ton of fun in a magical city.

European Adventure -- The Eiffel Tower

Amazing! We loved the Eiffel Tower! We climbed it and loved the views, but especially loved seeing it all lit up and sparkling at night.
 
 

European Adventure -- Verona

Verona was a great Italian town. Full of piazzas and plazas, fountains and great food. We had a fun day there, exploring the old city. We saw Juliet's house and famous balcony, as well as Roman ruins and other amazing sites. Oh, and the best pasta meal we've ever had. La Dolche Vita!
