Vancouver Vacation Part 1

We had a fun Spring Break trip up to Vancouver, Canada. It was absolutely beautiful up there and we enjoyed all the sites and activities we discovered up there. These pics are from Stanley Park in Vancouver, home of tons of fun things like a miniature trai, childrens petting zoo, aquarium, gardens and so forth.

Winter Family Olympics

In the Olympic spirit and looking forward to our upcoming trip to Vancouver, we had a family Olympics. The girls all made flags for their countries (Ashleyland, Kaitlyndia, Laurenland) and marched in for the opening ceremony and helped light the torch, then competed in a variety of events, from speed sock-skating and figure sock-skating to bobsled and ski jumping. We awarded medals at the end and had a fun family activity.

St Paddy's Day

A mighty fine St. Paddy's Day had we. The girls made a wee little Leprechaun trap with some Leprechaun bait to try and catch them a Leprechaun, but the wiley old Irish man outfoxed them and escaped their trap. But he also left them a wee little surprise from his pot o' gold. The rest of the day was spent celebrating all things green and all things Irish and was a fun day!
