Rise and Shout!

We had our annual indoctrination trip down to Provo. It's amazing how much allegiance you can buy with a t-shirt and popcorn at a football game! Future cougars, all of them!

A Field-Tripping We Go!

It took a couple weeks for him to warm up to the whole idea, but Tanner absolutely loves preschool and his teacher, Miss Addie. Last week, he was excited to go on his first field trip to the local grocery store. It was quite the tour, with treats and snacks along the way and a fun time for all.

You've got to stop losing things!

It happened! It happened! Lauren was so concerned about not losing a tooth yet (most of her 1st grade friends have lost teeth already) that she was stunned and giggly when we discovered a tooth literally about to fall out. It came out easily--and then to our surprise, she had another loose tooth the next night again about to fall out. She gave the tooth fairy a workout, but was very excited to be "all grown up now!"

We had some professional pictures taken of the girls up in the wildflowers near Alta in Little Cottonwood Canyon. Pretty cute girls, huh?

Back to School!

The girls were all very excited to get back into their school routine a couple weeks ago. We've got a 1st, 4th, and 5th grader and look forward to a great year!

Fun at the Fair

We had a great time at the Davis County Fair, with petting areas, pony rides, treats and lots of fun for all!

Ashley's Movie Star Birthday

We survived all the summer birthdays, celebrating the last one in style as Ashley turned 9. She wanted a movie star party, so we invited a bunch of friends over and gave them some random props and told them to throw together a plot and made a movie (something about train robbers and damsels in distress and snakes and so forth), then had a movie premiere! They dressed up as movie stars and walked the red carpet to the movie premier and then were given awards following the premier (best evil sneer, best use of an umbrella, etc). Afterwards, we ate cupcakes disguised as bags of popcorn and watched a movie projected onto a screen in front of the house and had a great time.
