British Isles Adventure Day 5

We enjoyed a second day in the English countryside. It started as a rainy day in Bath, but we really enjoyed our tour of the Roman baths there and were amazed by the exhibits and excavation they've been able to do there. We had lunch in the fancy Pump Room, a 17th century dining hall popular in Bath, with a string quartet serenading us as we dined. We drove back towards London, stopping in several quaint little towns in the Cotswolds region, including Burford and Woodstock. We stopped to tour old churches and browse antique shops. We found delicious fish and chips for dinner and finished the day driving through Oxford and back into the outskirts of London. And oh yes, we found we really like English candy bars!!
